Step 1. Download the game from this website or click here.Step 2. Double-click the Zip file to open it, and drag and drop the contents into a directory that you want the game to be in. (Desktop is a good one if you want easy access to the game.)Step 3. Open the folder and Read the README_FIRST PDF inside the extracted folder. This has helpful information on how to interact with the game client!Step 4. If playing for the first time, make sure that you install the UE4Prereqs within the Prereqs folder (If you don't know which one to use, go with UE4Prereqs_x64 or ask in our Discord). Follow the instructions on your screen.Step 5. Once the prerequisites have been installed, go back to the main game folder and run the game. If it runs without a problem, congratulations - you have the Community Version installed!
Step 1. If the game is already running, close it.Step 2. Download the latest balance patch from here.Step 3. Double-click the Zip file to open it, and drag and drop the contents into the following directory within your game folder:g3/Content/Paks
. The file should look like this. This patch is essential to play without errors/having an unpleasant experience. If you're still having trouble, contact us on Discord.Step 4. Open the game and check to see if there are custom skins in the Cosmetics section. If you see custom skins, you have the balance patch installed!
Step 1. On the main menu, there is an address that reads 127.0.0.1:7777
. This is your local address. (If you're also running your own server and want to play on it, this is the address you'd use.)Step 2. To connect to the Elemental Fracture servers, remove the 127.0.0.1:7777
IP address and replace it with the server you want to connect to. The following servers are available:
North America (NA) - Beauharnois QC, Canada
- Solo: 15.235.112.186:7777
- Duo: 15.235.112.186:7778
- Squad: 15.235.112.186:7779
- Arenas/TDM/Dominion: 15.235.112.186:7780Before joining, make sure you set yourself as Host or Participant accordingly and that your Team Number is blank! If you don't know what this means, refer to the README_FIRST document in your game folder.
